Syllabus |
|
Systems of mobile communications. Structure, functionalities, specific features, etc. for terrestrial systems 1G, “g, 2,5G, 3G and 3,5G.
Architecture, specific features and purpose of other cellular systems, mainly Pan European DECT and TETRA type.
Satellite systems for mobile communications – orbital aspect, telecommunications aspect, systems in GEO orbit, systems in LEO orbits, services of satellite systems. Mobile communications network. Network organization. Planning, establishing, functioning and maintaining networks. Network management. Mobile networks’ services (types, scope, quality) and billing systems.
Network trends (terrestrial and satellite and their connections). Exams |
|
During the written part of the exam students are allowed to use a list of formulas prepared by lecturers, which may be of use in solving problems. It is not allowed to use other notes, books, cell phones or other electronic devices. Problems, which students must solve during the exam, are of the same type solved during the lectures and tutorials.

| |
