The First Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina (CMBEBiH) will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the period March 13-15, 2015. It will be a remarkable event as it is the first time that Bosnia and Herzegovina will host a conference on Biomedical Engineering.

The general theme of the Conference is "Expand your horizons through the Biomedical Engineering", where researchers from academia, biomedical institutions and industry will have unique opportunity to exchange ideas and present their latest developments in all areas within the field of biomedical engineering.

The scope of the conference is to focus on the fields of medical and biological engineering: biomedical signal processing, imaging and image processing, health informatics, e-health and telemedicine, biosensors and bioinstrumentation, biomaterials, biomechanics, robotics and minimally invasive surgery, cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine systems engineering, molecular, cellular and tissue engineering, clinical engineering and health technology assessment, biomedical engineering education.
